Your TabiDex data controls

Information you can review before using TabiDex.

These instructions describe the Apple-only release with the current consent and data-control changes. Earlier TestFlight builds can differ; check release notes before assuming a new control is present.

Stop listening or saving

Tap Stop listening in Talk. Leaving Talk, opening another screen, locking or backgrounding the phone, or handing audio to playback stops capture. Revoke microphone or camera access in iPhone Settings if you do not want future access. Saving conversation audio starts off. Turning saving off prevents future saved sessions; it does not delete recordings already saved.

Delete saved audio and transcripts

Open History and use Delete now on the relevant conversation. The item includes its saved audio, original transcript and any locally reprocessed transcript. The one-hour or 24-hour choice controls availability after recording ends. Once expired, the app removes it from available history; physical cleanup occurs when TabiDex can run and checks storage. iOS suspension can delay that cleanup. There is no guarantee of forensic erasure or deletion of a copy outside the app.

Clear the current conversation or photo

Use Clear conversation in Talk or Settings → Privacy, terms & data controls. This clears the current conversation and reply suggestions and queues a shared Watch reply clear; it does not delete older saved recordings from History. Clear Scan to remove its source photo and recognized content from the current app session. The source image is also discarded when the app backgrounds. Your original Photos or iCloud item remains under your control in those services.

Clear a shared Watch reply

Use Clear shared Watch reply in Settings. The phone attempts to send a newer clear through Apple WatchConnectivity. If the Watch is offline or the app cannot run, delivery can occur later. Private reply text is memory-only in the Apple-only release, expires after 15 minutes and disappears after the corresponding app process restarts. Non-content ordering metadata prevents a queued old reply from restoring it. This does not promise immediate deletion of Apple-managed transport caches or older backups.

Choose Remove widget favorite in Settings or change the selected phrase in Phrases. Unpin phrasebook or study entries from Phrases as desired. Remove widgets from your Home or Lock Screen if you do not want them visible. Settings, favorite selections and study pins can be in OS-managed backups; a local clear does not rewrite an older backup.

Delete an older beta API credential

The Apple-only app has no external AI provider. On update it removes old provider settings and attempts to delete TabiDex’s saved API key from this iPhone’s Keychain. If the phone’s locked Keychain prevents deletion, unlock it and use Remove old credential in the Apple Intelligence settings section. You can also revoke the API key directly with the former provider. A local deletion does not delete provider-side records from earlier requests.

Website or support records

Email support@angelproductlabs.com for access, correction, deletion or privacy questions about correspondence you sent us. Include only what we need to locate and handle the request. Local app buttons do not delete email messages or hosting/security logs. Applicable legal requirements and service-provider processes govern those records.

Before uninstalling

Review or delete any saved recordings you need to manage, clear the shared Watch reply, remove widget favorites, and manage any separate backups through Apple’s controls. Uninstalling normally removes the app container, but does not by itself guarantee deletion from a paired device, an older backup, an original photo, a prior AI provider or our support mailbox. Do not rely on uninstalling as a universal deletion request.
